David was selected as Prospective Parliamentary Candidate (PPC) for South Suffolk in October 2007.  David is registered to vote in Castle Hedingham (North Essex) and has a base there, but also has a base in London giving him easy access to the major national media groups for UKIP. David has worked to help build up membership and strength in Eastern, helping in the recruitment of a councillor, speaking at public meetings and attending events across East Anglia, including Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Norfolk, Essex as well as around Suffolk.

David has family living in Castle Hedingham (his sister), Great Yeldham and Tiptree.

He knows East Anglia well from family holidays as a child, a girlfriend from the area, and from many friends and colleagues living here.
